FORE! Golf isn’t just for summers anymore.
Grab your putters and hit the Skyways! The Downtown Network is pleased to bring the 4th Annual U.S. Bank Skyway Golf Tournament back to Downtown Minneapolis. The event, featuring 18 one-of-a-kind miniature golf holes, benefits the Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities. Golfers are invited out to the two-day event, held on Friday, February 26 - Saturday, February 27, 2010.
This year the Skyway Open is expected to bring over 1000 golfers to the downtown skyway system, and is designed to draw all ages - from downtown professionals to families looking for children-friendly activities. Friday’s participation includes access to the course and to the 19th Hole celebration. Saturday will provide golfers with access to the course, children’s activities, and free parking.

Thursday, Feb. 25

Opening Ceremony – Noon, in the IDS Center Crystal Court
- Join event hosts from the Downtown Network, the Minneapolis Downtown Council, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities, Title Sponsor U.S. Bank, and local celebrities for a kickoff event
- Meet local celebrities and media personalities
- Attendees receive free giveaways, including tickets to an upcoming Minnesota Timberwolves game

Celebrity Golf Round – 1:00 pm, City Center, IDS Center, Gaviidae
- Local celebrities and media personalities hit the course for this year’s inaugural round

Golf the Course – 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, City Center, IDS Center, Gaviidae
- Tee times available for play at 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00 pm. Be one of the first to play the course!
- All Thursday golfers are welcome at the 19th Hole After Party on Friday

- Tee times available for play at 9:00 am; 11:00 am; 1:00 pm; 3:00 pm; 5:00 pm; and 7:00 pm.
- All Friday golfers are welcome at the 19th Hole After Party

Golf Hole Judging – 5:30 to 6:30 pm, City Center, IDS Center, Gaviidae
- A panel of industry experts will travel the course to evaluate holes for the prizes of: Top Design and the Greenest Green
- Golfers will have the opportunity to select the winner of the People’s Choice award
- Awards will be given out at a ceremony at the 19th Hole After Party

19th Hole After Party – 7:00 pm to Midnight, The Hotel Minneapolis
- Enjoy free drinks, food and entertainment at the 19th Hole After Party, presented by Hotel Minneapolis and catered by restaurant Max.
- Raffle prizes and free giveaways available for all attendees
- Awards program begins at 7:30 pm
- Admission is included in Thursday and Friday’s golf registration, or individual tickets can be purchased
